Shannon Miller
Another interesting fact…Shannon Miller was born in Missouri and her family moved to Oklahoma when she was only six months old. This was just 2 months after her doctor had discovered that her legs were turning inward, and he placed her in leg braces for six months. After years of training into her teenage years, seventeen years later, at the age of 19, she won 5 medals at the 1992 Olympics, then 2 more in 1996.
